This gorgeous old sandstone residence which has a fascinating history is now a private romantic retreat. Built by Charles Moore - Lord Mayor of Sydney (Moore Park) in 1886. Prior to being an accommodation establishment Southall has been a Vicarage, a boys Grammar School, a ladies Finishing College and Karkoola Maternity Hospital.

It offers three stunning separate suites with lovely en suites, and fireplaces in both the Vicarage and Karkoola Suites. Beautifully restored with all the little quality extras to spoil you. Each suite offers reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV, DVD players, stereo, fridge, dining table for 2, towels and crisp white linen.

The guest suites are separate from the main home and open onto a beautiful courtyard, which features a water fountain, pond and outdoor furniture. A great spot to relax in the sunshine and read the papers or a book whilst enjoying your favourite beverage.

Southall provides a scrumptious gourmet breakfast basket with both the romantic and continental packages served in the comfort of your suite.

For those who prefer to enjoy the morning sunshine and cook a BBQ breakfast outdoors, BBQ packs are available by arrangement [extra to tariff].
